Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can I get in?
Usually, we can book appointments within a couple of weeks. However, if you need a specific time or day, we recommend booking ahead.
Dogs typically have a skin cycle of about 21 days, so ideally, a bath every 3 weeks can be beneficial. However, we recommend bathing your dog every 3 to 8 weeks, depending on factors such as grooming style, your dog’s stress level, coat type, and lifestyle. Regular grooming helps maintain a healthy coat and skin, but the exact frequency can vary based on your dog’s individual needs.

A full groom typically includes two baths, moisturizing conditioner, brush-out, haircut, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression (if needed). We also offer additional services such as teeth brushing and de-shedding treatments.

For safety reasons and to help your dog remain calm, we ask that owners do not stay during the grooming process. However, please let us know if you have any specific concerns, and we’ll be happy to address them before the appointment

Before bringing your dog in, ensure they’ve had a potty break, and let us know if there are any specific concerns or health issues we should be aware of. Regular brushing at home also helps maintain their coat between grooming sessions.

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another client.

If your dog’s fur is matted, we’ll discuss the best approach with you. In some cases, mats can be brushed out, but severe matting may require shaving to prevent discomfort or skin issues. We’ll always prioritize your dog’s well-being and discuss options with you beforehand.
